I`ve been watching the ppl sens....and they usually uses more than 3 with a high dpi mouse. I have a mx518 and i use 1.5 sens, and its quite sensible......how they can play with this high sens, with a good mouse
but just a little touch in the mouse i give a 180 degrees turn. i have a cpl mouse fix.... and launch option -noforce..comands.... there`s anything else to do?
how about those "high sens players" ? do they also use default window sens? or have you tried to lower your window sens?you might find a difference anyway,it is all perf0rmance
I dont get this: moral of the story: high dpi for high sens. low dpi for low sens." Seems wrong, zet in his prime used high sens with 400 dpi 6/11 win, f0rest at his prime the same, spawn, i dont know, all high sens pros used to play with 400 dpi and 6/11@win, and most of them still do.
When determining a player's sensitivity you have to look at all aspects of it. For example I know that RWA uses/used 1.0 ingame and 11/11 windows sense (mentioned on ask ESEA: rwa) but I don't know what his dpi is so I really have no idea if his sensitivity is higher or lower than mine. Use what works best for you.
I suggest just going in a server and moving your mouse around the screen trying to pinpoint it on specific spots and also seeing how it matches your hand/arm movements. Although not in CS this is exactly what I did with my drawing tablet for my PC. I found the sensitivity and settings that closely matched my actual movement of the stylus/pen so that I could draw almost exactly the same on the computer. 4 inches on the tablet is almost exactly 4 inches on my screen.
Many pros may still use 400 DPI because when they started playing years ago that was all that was available, the same is the case for 640 resolution (in terms of best performance only).

"how can you play with such a low sensitivity"
