i have this problem with cs 1.6. when i'm scoped i move the mouse right very slowly, and the crosshair moves fine. than i move the mouse left very slowly and the crosshair wont move. like the red scope dot jitters left to right like it wants to move, but the screen wont.
i've tested this out with other games, mouses and mouse mats and it appears only to occure in 1.6. this sucks balls when sniping in small places. any solutions?

#2 yes my pc is beasty, thanks for asking. this problem occures in cs 1.6 all the time and not for any other game (e.g css or something). this only occuring when i move left isn't freeze up at all, but thanks anyways.
oh and #3- please go fornicate your self with a tire iron.
i doubt its something with the mouse if it moves right and not left when scoped.. try reinstalling counterstrike or removing any internal models or gui's you have in your cstrike folder.
i've tried my DA, 3.0. and lachesis and it gets the same problem. and it shoulden't be the PC cause the problem has been isolated down to cs 1.6 and no other game :(
#7 i've tried that :( but i get the same result every time. the strange thing is that the red dot in the middle of the scope moves left to right like its regestering being moved, but the crosshair wont move left. (this is for slow left movments, not fast).
Have you checked that your graphic card can deal with the game? Cause had a problem alike that, I changed my graphic card and it worked again.. Now have I changed my computer to a newer one and, it all seems to work :)
