In the off season they are gonna preform on Broadway, because they are some of the most skilled actors I have ever seen.
Lakers haven't played like themselves the last 2 games, and Kobe is hurting, but it doesn't help when Utah has the homecourt, the refs, and acting ability. Watch how many phantom fouls got called for them this game. I remember a play where Deron Williams slashed his arm on Derek Fisher, Fisher got by him, and he took a step back and threw himself to the floor. Luckily they called the foul on him that time.
They probably shot 40+ foul shots this game while only shooting 16 in LA game 2. Funny how that happens. No wonder they were 40-5 at home during the regular season. Only saving grace they have is that Sloan is their coach.

didnt get to watch the game but i doubt it was as bad as you say. jazz are a great team no matter what. still they will have to win in LA if they want any chance at going to the finals.
Was pulling for the Lakers in that game but your bias is putting you on forum tilt right now with some of your statements. Tough to complain about Utah players potentially overacting to get calls when Sasha Vujacic and Pau Gasol are practically bad daytime soap opera actors when they get even grazed by another player's body.
Biggest problem with that game for the Lakers was Williams hitting all those open threes he got which really added up and then Kobe taking way too many threes in the 4th onwards when it had become abundantly clear his long range game was non-existent thanks to the injury. In his defense a number of the times he did it was when they would be down 4-5 and a three would pull them close, but since they were getting steals and stops higher percentage looks from Gasol or Odom would have been the right play.
Tough to criticize once the game is over though, if he makes those shots then we're all talking about how he gutted out a hero performance by making big shots with a significant injury, instead none of them fall and we're left to figure out other plays which may not have changed the result anyway. In that spot and on a team like the Lakers you have to stick with the captain and go down with the ship, the guy has saved them and made the big shot so many times they can't really deny him a few failed opportunities at it.

Utah plays dirty. If you watch closely you will ALWAYS see Jazz players intentionally hooking arms with opponents making it look like they are just getting tangled up. Then they throw their arms in the air and fly backwards and the refs call a foul. It's ridiculous. By the way, just for reference, I'm a Rockets fan.
Kobe took all those shots even though he probably knew he wasn't gonna make it due to his injury. I wished he passed it to his teammates for the easy bucket =/
Yes everyone flops, but no one does it as much as the Jazz. Even back when they were playing the Bulls in the finals 15 years ago or so they were taking dives then and I can remember being so angry that they were being so cheap. Games aren't fun to watch when the whistle is being blown every 3 seconds because a team needs to be cheap to win. Too bad that Jordan just lit them up anyways.
And Thorin, the Laker's problem wasn't Utah's shooting or anything the Jazz did. Maybe in Game 3 that was the case, but this game it was the Laker's poor free throw shooting that did them in coupled with the 300 that Utah was given. Can't wait till Game 5 in Los Angeles. It will probably go 7 games, but I feel safe knowing that two of those three games, Utah won't be able to put on their show and get away with it. Laker's won easily in both home games, while the Jazz, even with help, struggled to put the Laker's away.

yea malone and stockton would flop 24/7, thats was back in the day. they got calls and so everyone copied them. and the lakers got at least 35 free throws i beleve the first 3 games while utah had a max of 15... how bout u come complain about it when u get phantom fouls called nonstop for 4 games. ie dwayne wade.
the refs for the last 2 games did not call all the fouls that happened.. a f2 on ronny?? when u clearly see the stupid pg holding the ball near his balls and he expects to not fall hard with his hands nowhere near his face to protect himself and he kinda turned his face to fall on it ( if you watch it over)... stupid call

Utah just got lucky, if kobe was doing well and fisher had stayed in the game they would of won
