1. make sure the desk can be adjusted height wise to match your chair 2. make sure the desk allows the mouse and keyboard on the same level 3. try to get a split level desk where you can place the monitor higher up at perfect eye level

I have this and its perfect for the setup you mentioned. I have the largest DKT mat, and still have extra room for speakers/etc.
