Crouch Button Question

hello all, I haven't been playing long (about 3-4 months) when I first started I pretty much reconfigured all the keys which has a come a touch messy with important keys being in crap places.

Anyway I use to have crouch bound to mouse2 now i've gone back to default keys i've noticed i dont use it that much. Is there something to be said for not using crouch loads?

I would sit alot and spray when it was so assessable which isnt great, do most use the default key?

i think nearly everybody uses the default ctrl key

i use shift for crouch and ctrl for walk, shift is just closer for my pinky to hit

Crouching a lot isn't a good thing in firefights and most use the default ctrl key as the above poster said.

I use ctrl as well. I have a bind to MWHEELUP as well, but only use it for peeking over the boxes and stuff. Wouldn't use it for crouchwalk because of lack of control of the movement and aiming.

what #4 posted is quite a common way as well which you may find more suitable.

I use arrow keys, my duck is shift.

mine is C and i use wasd :P

OK I'm getting there with the default keys just wanted to know if most rest their pinky on the shift (walk) or the ctrl key (duck).

think i just need to get use to not ducking so much, its helping my game a lot so far.

I was on a server with forbidden crouchwalk yesterday, I went all mad had to bhop all the time. Felt a bit oldschool though.

i use shift to crouch and mouse4 to walk. yeah its bad to crouch all the time..but it needs to be somewhat easy to hit b/c its important.

#14 I rest it on the shift key. Feels natural for me. My hand hurts if I rest it on the ctrl key.

It is not enough to aim; you must hit.

i use / to crouch. it's just how your preference is.
