Removing messages from demos

is it possible to remove ALL chat? like if u wnt to upload a demo but dont want ppl to see wht the chat was abt?

well you can hex edit names in the demos, maybe you can for the ingame text too? never tried

You could probably hex edit all of the chat to be blanks (change "blah" to just four spaces). I'm pretty sure that removal of the chat (via hex edit) would break the demo ;[

just type HUD_SAYTEXT on console, no need to type "0" or "1".
