dont listen to #2. he thinks he knows what hes talking about. BEFORE you delete all the things in System32 you have to find your boot.ini file and delete everything in it.
Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. -or- Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK. 2. On the Advanced tab, click Settings under Startup and Recovery. 3. Under System Startup, click Edit.
then delete your system 32 folder. you can reboot your computer and everything will rebuild and BAM no more cpl mouse fix!
if you have issues with programs for some reason open a cmd promt and type netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt netsh winsock reset bootcfg /delete /ID1 bootcfg /delete /ID2
type ' regedit ' on execute and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse and look if the code is the same as the one on mouse_fix.reg (open it with notepad)

I agree. Sometimes I wonder why people ask for help in these forums. Most of the people who answer are under 12 years old, and don't have a clue what they are talking about anyway.
At least there's a few of us that do.

"Well, stop whining, guys :) If you want to reverse the mousefix affects then just restore the modified reg keys in the Windows registry :D.
Here is what MouseFix does: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse] "SmoothMouseXCurve" =hex:00,00,00,00,00,00, 00,00,00,a0,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,40,01,00, 00,00,00,00,00,80,02,00,00,00,00,00,00,00, 05,00,00,00,00,00 "SmoothMouseYCurve" =hex:00,00,00,00,00,00, 00,00,66,a6,02,00,00,00,00,00,cd,4c,05,00,00, 00,00,00,a0,99,0a,00,00,00,00,00,38,33,15,00, 00,00,00,00

follow #11's advice.
If you want to reverse the mousefix affects then just restore the modified reg keys in the Windows registry :D.
Here is what MouseFix does:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse]
"SmoothMouseXCurve"
=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,
00,00,00,a0,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,40,01,00,
00,00,00,00,00,80,02,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,
05,00,00,00,00,00
"SmoothMouseYCurve"
=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,
00,00,66,a6,02,00,00,00,00,00,cd,4c,05,00,00,
00,00,00,a0,99,0a,00,00,00,00,00,38,33,15,00,
00,00,00,00
And here is what you need to restore to:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse]
"SmoothMouseXCurve"
=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,
00,00,15,6e,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,40,01,00,00,
00,00,00,29,dc,03,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,28,00,
00,00,00,00
"SmoothMouseYCurve"
=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,
00,00,b8,5e,01,00,00,00,00,00,cd,4c,05,00,00,
00,00,00,cd,4c,18,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,38,02,
