After the recent fiasco in the current CGS season, Jason Lake shows the middle finger to the speculations about him retiring from his General Manager role at the L.A. compLexity.
Really good read, gotta respect him for taking the blame when he easily could have passed it off on Doa Male or CS who really didn't pull their weight as expected this season. Not trying to insult those divisions, but everyone coming in had to think coL would be #1 Source team (+ a ton of points for coL night after night) and that PL would be somewhere near the top. I really think the only mistake Jlake made was drafting Belle 3rd round when he easily could have gotten her 5th round, but whatever, can't wait to see coL playing 1.6 again :D
Am I the only one who has never ever liked Jason Lake that much? Or perhaps the only one that remains unchanged by his bullsh!t?
He's weaving a net of bullshit to drop over our eyes - an explanation for the 2-10 record he had. What he SHOULD say is that the CGS is in an entirely uncoachable format and talk about how having multiple games with little expertise available on any (all new compared to 1.6 which has been around for a while, like an ACTUAL FLEDGLING SPORT) makes for a random, unpredictable situation.
Lake's not a bad GM or Coach but he certainly is a master bullsh!tter.
