#2 for the 5th thread in a row. the Actual score was 16-3 the rest weren't played out. Not that I disagree with what you're trying to say, just seeing so many people type the wrong score over and over again is annoying after staying up all night to watch these matches.

its all good, i've just been following it and the corresponding threads all night so in my position i've seen the same wrong score posted over and over again.

no one ever said eg was the best in the world.. there probably 5th right now. and everyone knows that mTw is one of the three best in the world so i dont get what all the hype is..?
EG isnt bad, they are just not what NA hypes them up to be. I swear to god if I watch n0thing strafe between a and b site looking @ the wall on inferno 1-2 more times ima puke xD
#13 because a lot of people in this world are stupid, including me, and they see EG.usa destroy lower tier american teams so they think zomg! They must do this to every team in teh whole worldz!

the only thing coL has on EG is international experience.
y'all are forgetting that coL wasn't good until winter CPL '04. then they won eswc '05. coL had attended at LEAST 2-3 major tournaments against the best teams (both NA and world) before that. i know for sure they had attended WCG '04 where they got spanked by 3D after calling them washed up.
EG is just in the spotlight right now since they're basically the only american team. if coL and EG had switched roles, y'all would be saying the same stuff. EG is new to the international scene. coL is not...but i really doubt coL can even compete with the teams of today.
head to head, though...EG can take coL easily. and i hope they do, i'd like to see EG keep representing the USA at these events.
#23 does coL REALLY have more international experience? Think about it. Their first tournament together was at CPL winter '04 then they won ESWC '05. They never attended any 1.6 international tournaments before CPL winter (nor American tournaments). That is 6 months of playing in the international scene before they won.
Now look at EG. EG has been on the international scene for almost a year already, where they attended WCG almost a year ago. And yet, the best EG has seemed to accomplish is beating a russian pug and getting out of group brackets. To top that off, every single win EG has has been controversial. They fell flat on the floor this time and not surprisingly there was no conversies at all.
Is it the experience that's killing EG or is it the fact that coL was just a much better team? I say the latter. A few months into the international scene, coL was already the favorites for winning the next big major international tournaments. A year into the international scene and EG hasn't gotten past anything but a few controversial upsets without any good placings.
you also have to take into acount that the players that made up cal were from other good teams at the time. coL was essentially one of the first NA organizations to try and assemble a "super star" team, and it worked. EG is the new version of a "super star" team, except there are far less high caliber players to choose from then there were when coL was assembled.

eg.usa
coL is n.a's only hope.
silly me i must be a dumbass
lol, wake up
16-3 is still terrible lol
yes they got 2 rnds in total on mtw, that is the rules
EG is bad
meaning while 16-3 is still BAD, it is the correct score.
Hopefully, they'll do better at ESWC '08. :)
eg blows and che is worse
