I'm ready to receive a lot of backlash by making this thread, but here it is..
I believe EG should have played out the remaining rounds again mtw. I know that EG playing out the rounds don't help the cause of EG but it does effect other teams.
Because EG decided to leave the server after 16-3, mtw is 1st and e-stro 2nd respectively in their group.
Not, saying that EG could/couldn't have gotten more rounds by playing out but at this stage (so called pro-esport) they should have shown some "eitquette, repect" towards the other teams in their group and towards eswc...
Like the DCC team that played out regardless of their placing against e-stro...EG should have done the same.
I know it doesn't matter that much since attax/mouse are both great teams and majority of the teams that make it out of 1st round are all capable teams....But, there will be some cases where being 1st/2nd in round one make a big impact in latter round...

It sucks when this happens and you're stuck with two 2nd place teams in a group and the rounds decide who advances. Rather just see MR16 and a head to head, based on record, match to see who advances.
It would take a bit longer, but not much more than what they're already taking up by playing out.

Yes, I understand that their morale hit rock bottom..but, for the fans of EG/mtw/e-stro... Be a trooper and give your best to the last round.... That's all I'm asking...
I know it's a bad analogy..but.. If in NBA Team A is winning by 20pts with 3mins left in 4th quater...and Team B calls it quit and walks out of the court! o.O WTH! is that! lol hmmm to think of it.. that will some funny crap LOL
That is actually a great point. mTw and eSTRO tied in group play. If EG played out and had won even 3 more rounds on mTw, eSTRO would have placed 1st in their group. I think...

And if you honestly consider a comment like that abuse... then you are one extremely sensitive individual and should probably work on that or your life will either be very unpleasant or very short caused by a nervous breakdown.
And unprofessional? yes. But I don't really blame them, they were expected to come out and show that they could be in contention for this tournament and they got destroyed.

Due to EG, 1st/2nd place was determined IMHO... To flake out like that...I dont know..Just lost some respect...
If an organization sets a rule to play out, all teams not just EG should play out all 30rounds instead of leaving the server after a team gains 16... That's just how I feel due to how the rules are set.
