I've read several posts in the past few days about my team, just sitting in the shadows watching all this drama pan out, and personally I think it could have been avoided.
Maybe some of the personal grudges will linger, but hopefully after I make some things clear, you will understand what makeSHIFT really is.
My team can sure be condescending, and at most times act like a bunch of territorial apes. But I don't believe my organization is a zoo, and I wouldn't have them play under my name if I truely didn't feel they could grow into a top team. All of these players, are great kids, young talent, and really just need a place to shine.
This is what makeSHIFT always was, a home to average players with above average intentions. Unlike these financial powerhouse organizations, I don't give a single bit about my image. Professionalism shouldn't be conditioned, I don't "act" differently towards people for benefit, I just interact. I know my team isn't anywhere close to being a top contender in e-Sports. But let's make a few things clear.
Even though they are condescending, they are nice people. They don't cheat, they don't packet other teams, and unlike some of the people they hang out with in ventrilo, they're generally well mannered.
Remember this, nothing is constant, in a week this team could be dead, so be a bit positive if you can find yourself to be. This is a great experience to play coL after returning to 1.6, but far from belief, I do not think coL is at their top, nor anywhere close to what they used to be.
Support is something that's difficult to do, it has nothing to do with idling my channel, or registering on my (nonexistant) website. Just be positive, and respectful, there's nothing like a little comradery!
As much as you guys try, I won't defend my statement, that's why it's a statement.
Take it how you want, you can be the judge of how you display yourself in this community, it's not my responsibility to make everyone like us, but instead hopefully prove my good intentions.
who wants to be friends with people you admit are condescending? this post reeks of immaturity and socially inept ideas. you dont condition to be professional, you act professional because youre not a childish ass. dont justify how you act by saying we just interact. "even though they are condescending, they are nice people".. umm... wat? a team with above average intentions? you consider condescending, cocky behaviour above average intentions? makeshift wants to do well for one reason, to shove it down everyones throats. this post is a joke. your team is a joke. you make e-sports look like a joke.
if by well mannered you mean absolutely dispicably rude, for completely unwarranted reason, then someone please e-mail webster and tell them to change their definition of manners. Your team sir, is a joke, and I'm not referring to the ingame quality of their abilities (while I question that too), im referring to their blatant ethuggery and general dismissal of simple courtesy.

you the biggest problem here? everybody thinks they're good, nobody helps the community to grow, they just want to have an "e-popularity" maybe because the majority dont have any irl.
makeSHIFT issues
n0thing is constant
makeshift is mad online, and everyone knows it.
Tell them to go to a LAN.

So what's everyone's excuse this time?
This is my last post, because I'm not here to fight.
