I think it's F8, but hit that as the computer is booting and it should show both HDs on the Select Boot Device menu. Then just pick it.

Change ports in the back of HDD's. Original make slave and new one - master.

#2 there is no device for it in my boot menu.

#3 i tried that, it wont boot into it. it keeps restarting the computer on me.

#5 i tried that too but i cant connected it as master only because it has a different wire that connects it. the fat wide one, instead of a small thin one.

#5 Slave and Master settings don't determine which one boots, you can have your boot drive set as the slave.

If you can't find it in your boot menu it isn't connected properly.

If it's a windows that was installed with different PC components, it will only boot loop on you. You need to boot off the windows xp cd with only your second hard drive connected. Go through the XP install sequence, when it ask you to press enter to continue... you do exactly that, then it will ask you to press f8 for EULA and then you should get a screen that says "There is already a windows xp installation on this hard drive, would you like to repair it" then you should be pressing R. It will then repair the windows INstallation to work with your PC.
