so who do teams like sk/fnatic/mym play against? not eachother right? think its just mainly local teams in their region/nation?
They have invite channels like #bombsite #de_nuke and #pracctime in the quakenet...
the top euro teams like fnatic mym alternate mouz and sk play each other in the evenings and fnatic for example has special teams they always play against (soa and former excello)
the ping is not a problem...
from germany to sweden you get 40ms
but they play on a .dk server then and both get about 20ms
doesn't make sense for mouz to play against other eps teams because they are on another level!
#21 I played with my one friend a ways back who was from one of those Arabic countries in their server, and they all had like 50-120 ping lol. I think certain countries just have certain internet. And all of those high tech countries that we mentioned all of like 10mbit connections or whatever. Because when they do their little CB league in europe, they ALL ping great. No matter what country. And europe is very tiny for like 40 countries. America is huge, LITERALLY LOL!@!#$!@
yeah i think it's other not necessarily pro teams, but "top teams" if that makes sense. in the uk with have an invite league, and teams from there often play pro teams after being invited to the +i irc chans

#22 +1 u are right :D But You have to know sth ! In greece ISPs offer internet connections up to 24 mbs (till now :P ). The truth is that NO ONE gets 24 , the maximum 16 ! The problem is that only 10-20 cs player can get that speed ( LOL :P )! All others ( like me ) have EXTREME packet loss and sometimes high ping n' latency :/ In addition to that, our "internet network" sucks ass! For example , you may get 16 mbs playing in a greek server and get 50-90-100 ms ;S
