impulsive has been top fragging all tournament long though. if only gfn had stepped it up a bit during the last match on d2, they could have had it.

o thought only 1 team advanced

still pretty bad

Group B is playing tiebreaker matches as 3 of the teams have 6 points in that group.

Im assuming group E will do the same.

You guys act like they're playing the local NY pug at a w2z and getting stomped. These teams are @ GameGune for a reason, they are good or have some notable accomplishments. Just because you don't know who they are does not mean that they are random teams. This isn't CAL-Open season 32 despite what you all may think.

WAIT WAIT ,

You guys have missed out on playing in any major international events since last year's ESWC. How important is this event for your team?

This event is very important to us as a team, and as an organization. There is a lot of doubt within the global community about whether or not the US has any teams worth representing internationally. We are here today to change that. This is more then just respect for us as a team, but respect for our country. -x3o|nickfitz. obviously ...

the tiebreaker is only in group B because they stopped after one team won 16 rounds. group E played out all 30 so there shouldn't be tiebreaker matches

Don't know why Nickfitz says TBH isn't good, when they tied them? I don't think saying a team is not very good is necessary.

Nickfitz "From my perspective, though they played well, they are not very good; we just had a very sloppy tside start."

GJ Making it out of group play boys. Keep it going.

#8 no, they won't.

group B played their matches in first to 16 format and therefore they couldn't use round difference to set order of the teams

group E played all 30 rounds in every match so they're going to use round difference to determine who goes past groupstage

yeah #16's got it spot on. maingear should be playing in international tournaments representing the US instead of actual good US teams. moron

if both TBH and x30 did their maths before going into their matches against the underdogs both knew that they only needed so-and-so many rounds to advance and that a win alone can't help either of the underdogs if it isn't a really big one.

looking at it this way makes the wins of both blacksoul and coolermaster a lot less worth of notice.

#17 i dont get it then. why would one group play out all rounds and another group in the same tourney play only until one wins.

#26 At first GameGune admins decided to play first to 16 rounds format. It failed soon and as a result three teams from group B have to play rematches. That's why they decided to change it while tournament was already on to avoid another flukes.
