I'm using the following:

Launch Settings:
-dxlevel 90 -32bpp -nojoy -gl -w 800 -h 600 -applaunch 10 -full -heapsize 1048576 -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -noipx -novid -nocrashdialog

Windows Sens: 4
Mouse Sens: 10
CS 1.6 Sens: 4
DPI: 1800
Polling Rate: 1000
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder (drivers installed)
Mousepad: Razer Exactmat (Control Side)
OS: XP (yes CPL mouse fix is on)

Now I'm not having any problems with aiming in the game at all. But i ask this because i read the following in the FAQ:
(4)
Q: What is the best Mouse DPI?
A: Quoted from Drax.
"if you use high sensitivity, high dpi is good for accuracy.
if you use low sensitivity, low dpi is good for tracking.
if you try to use high dpi with low sens, you will get negative accel effects.
if you try to use low dpi with high sens, your aim will seem to skip and not be fluid.

AM I getting negative accel?

Understand this.
Q: What is the best Mouse DPI?
Preference is the best answer. A lower game sens is always desirable. The higher your in game sens the more pixels being skipped. No way around it. sorry. Raise dpi to gain fast sensitivities instead of raising ingame sens.

"if you use high sensitivity, high dpi is good for accuracy."
Which because of what I stated above. And thats the only reason....

"if you use low sensitivity, low dpi is good for tracking."
Dpi doesn't track anything mice do. Some mice are better at tracking than others. The razer 3g sensor is not a "low dpi" sensor and it tracks faster than the mx300.

"if you try to use high dpi with low sens, you will get negative accel effects."
Thats only not true unless your mouse has the characteristics for it.
Some mice have negative accel probs, some don't. Now if your mouse did have negative accel probs raising the dpi might exaggerate the effect.

"if you try to use low dpi with high sens, your aim will seem to skip and not be fluid."
Relating to what I said at the top, if you use low dpi you have to increase your ingame sens to achieve high sensitivity. The higher the ingame sens the more pixels skipped.

Once you understand you'll be like duh, that makes sense. Why didn't I understand it that way before. The ingame sens is not an extension of control over your mouse. All it does is increase the number of pixels skipped and then you end up with a faster sense per input. DPI is that input. Changing the amount of input per inch raises or lowers sensitivity on screen without changing in game sens ie without degradation on your aim.

I can't peel myself away from using a sens of 1 in cs 1.6. Combination of not wanting pixel skipping and I actually like it that low. Thats with a 400dpi ms wheel mouse which does have negative accel probs and its no relation to how much dpi it has....
