I have been playing CS since some time now. I see a lot of my friends punching in a lot of settings in the console pre-game.
Are there any special settings required to optimize the game?
As in they hit headshots pretty easily (not to sound like a noob)
Something like, While sniping , the moment an opponent come on the screen, a simple flick of the wrist towards the opponent and firing the Mag does the kill. Mag is not aimed essentially at the opponent , still they get a kill...

ex_interp .1 = will still kill a person when the model disappears around a corner ex_interp .01 = more accurate hitboxes in relation to the model on your screen
settings on desktop rightclick on desktop go to settings then go to left change the screen resolution to 800*600 and 16 bit the advantage of this is that you can see in smoke the bullet will fire on target and your game run smooth. then go to advanced your graphics card settings and then turn off the following options VERTICAL SYNC ANISTROPIC FILTERING ANTIALIASING then start the game and in the console write fps_max 111 cl_showfps 1 cl_forwardspeed 9999 cl_sidespeed 9999 cl_backspeed 9999 cl_dlmax 121 hud_centerrid 1 cl_dynamiccrosshair 1 use this because its easy to use and pistols kill will be more if you dont kill on small aim switch to medium and play fast volume 0.5 it helps you to hear your enemies more clearly then press the window button on the keyboard and then press right click n counter strike icon and go to find target in the find target tab there is some text written at the end of the text write -noforcemacel -noforcemspd -freq100

Mouse settings ??
I have a Laser mouse and i am stuck as to which DPI and Polling rate to play on.
So DPI+Polling Rate+Windows Sens+CS Senstivity
Finding a good match for the above is tough ... any suggestions ?

what does that mean?? putting cmds in console to go faster? that would be a "cheat code"
