#3 the only reason female teams are talked about is how bad the "good" ones are. They don't need their own league, they need to "man up" and start playing real teams so that they start getting better. The best female team is still only the best of the mediocre.
i support this.. hopefully it leads to female players being a bit more known and eventually.. one of them can switch onto a professional team and compete with the rest of the cs community.. good luck
this is retarded. it will just support the fact that the only lans/leagues girls can win are GIRL only events. Its like saying Girls only poker or girls only chess. Guys dont have any unfair advantage over girls in CS so i dont see why they should have their separate league. If girls arent good enough to compete, its not our problem and we shouldnt give them an easy way to get known.
I guarantee you that once the teams are shown, 1/2 of gotfrag will buddy each and every one of those girls and say sht like "omg gl!" or tease them a bit and act like a completely different person in hopes of getting that e-pusZsAYYYyYYyY
most, if not all female teams that will compete in this league are in either CAL, CEVO and or ESEA as well. at least i would never personally consider this a replacement for the far superior competition found in those leagues, but instead this is just an additional fun league to add a few more matches for female teams.
it's a female league developed and run by females. any male here can make an all male league if they feel like doing so and not allow females :p. from my understanding, the only prizes involved (if any prizes at all) will be the entry fees that the females themselves pay - so it's not like it includes prize money that could have otherwise gone to better male teams.
basically no reason to really get upset :p. just something for fun. the more accomplished/competitive female players should understand that it is no replacement for the quality of competition in other leagues.
