After numerous hours of game play I noticed that no matter if a player chooses to use the weapon on the left or right hand side the weapon still appears to be on the right hand side for the enemy. As such, when shooting the head tilts to the right in the direction of the weapon, as well as the head hit boxes. This small topic is over looked in cs and here’s how you can use it to your advantage:
Peeking corners: When peeking corners using the right hand shoulder the head sticks out no matter what you do as depicted here:
The enemy can still shoot your head by walling but the rule of thumb is that when walling you’re only doing half the damage as of not walling (eg: 1 shot does 30 dmg but when walling it does 15 dmg). Hence if he still managed to wall your head, you have a better probability of killing him and surviving.
Hideing / Peeking As weird as cs is build the right shoulder actually sticks out more than the left shoulder. Take for example you are hiding in a corner, if the enemy is walking up he can see you before you see him (this gives him the advantage).
Overcoming the right shoulder peek When going in general areas and peeking corners you should peek it from the farthest wall. For our scenarios we were looking at cat so ill depict this using the same principle.
This will give you the advantage such that both of you see each other at the same time, and if you play smart enough you can prefire that general area where his head might be and get him before he gets you.
Conclusion If you play smart enough, and know what angle to peek keeping in mind the right shoulder sticks out you can use this to your advantage for peeking corners or even hiding in certain areas. Lastly, you want to crouch peek right corners. Since again the models are a little different it will hide your body and give you the advantage.
#10 I dont mean to sound rude by this, but im helping the community in what ever way I can so that we can get esports for cs back to how popular it was in 2004. Now tell me, what help have you given the community other than bash those who try to help?
Thanks for your support guys! #15 I would write articles for gotfrag but I dont know where to apply, and I dont know if they are hiring. Thanks for the comment though :)
lol look at you kids you play this game every single day and still don't know the basic sh1t. I find it quite funny when some randy unknown kid writes crap on gotfrag acting like hes good
#23 I can see you are clearly angry that my knowledge of this game is far more superior than yours. I find it actually entertaining to see that you're filled with jealousy and hate, in fact you are the type of player who cries about almost everything when they are on the losing end. Not realizing that the reality is you were the reason for the loss. But thats alright cause I dont get angry when someone is better than me I applaud them and hope they help the community, not come on forums and rage about how he thinks hes good at this game. Reality is your capacity for a mindset is so inferior that I could fit it in my palm and crush it.
Let me take that down a few IQ levels -> you're mad that im better than you.

#25 I was thinking about writing that, but there is too many factors for that aspect as to positioning and where to aim. For the most part I could show some flashes, nades, or smokes that people over look or dont use that might be helpful for clearing areas.
Although this is kind of old, and there was actually a similar post (maybe it was you?) a few months ago with screenshots, this is WAY more in depth and shows it better than anything I've seen before. Good work :)
i always thought i was imagining that the shoulders made a difference, this actually proves it, well done sir, keep up the good work. Even if people says it obvious and people should know, this helps out people trying to get better.
so ..you cant choose what shoulder to use to peek because of the situation/place/spot...that mean ur wall of text end up with nothing

thats false.... : you dont have to mind with what shoulder you peek...it just depend of the situation and spot...you dont need to be smart enough to do that...just peek and ur shoulder will follow every side you peek....thats a useless trick... because if you came from long by t side on dust2...your right shoulder will peek first so if you want your left should to peek first you have to turn around...<-- wont be able to see enemies :) thats right....: thats totally right...like the crouch spot at long with flash/smoke...pretty awesome (show u later)

<Rift-1d> The background states "Turtles" when those are clearly not regular turtles.
just one thing i have to say about your conclusion and solution is that it only applies if you are walking/being silent. The reason people would peek/expose themselves at the closest wall possible is that it give that element of surprise (which they would do at running pace, most likely in the chaos of nades being thrown and other shots being fired around the map)... but sure if you are walk peeking then the discoveries you have made are very helpful
#34 you completely miss understood what i wrote, read it carefully. Note that i say you have be smart about how you peek areas where your right shoulder sticks out (use flashes, nades etc) something that would give you a better chance than the enemy.
#35 i also took into consideration the fast movement, if you apply the same rules i stated about what is seen first it actually still applies to moving fast. Hence this can determine if you have the first shot or not
The things i write is what i observer and take notes of that others over look. I use them to my advantage and feel i have understood the physics behind my theories. You're assuming that me helping the community will suddenly make me bad and them better. Thats like saying because your school teacher taught you the fundamentals of physics you are suddenly smarter than them. This is not the case since the teacher outsmarts the student no matter what the teacher educates them with. It is the students duty to practice what is learned and WITH due time they may get as good or better but it takes time. So really i think you're in fear that what i taught will make others better than YOU and not me, you fear to admit it and fear you are on the losing end of the straw that your "skills" will diminish because of my aided help i give to the community.
wow emilk... why didn't you pm me in the other thread when I was looking for a homosexual...
btw, it's a lot more likely that you just took a lesson from maximilian kohler or someone else and now are posting stuff from what you learned trying to act all smart and shhit. gtfover yourself kid. stick to posting about anti-viruses.
The Shoulder Peek
Peeking corners:
When peeking corners using the right hand shoulder the head sticks out no matter what you do as depicted here:

While when peeking corners using the left hand shoulder the head is actually hidden, and even more when shooting:

The enemy can still shoot your head by walling but the rule of thumb is that when walling you’re only doing half the damage as of not walling (eg: 1 shot does 30 dmg but when walling it does 15 dmg). Similarly, if you are hiding and your left shoulder sticks out then you can see him before he sees you.

good but..how can you peek a corner with the left arm...if ur peeking like in this pic: http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/2596/i..
