I'd say for the Euros, its having quality opponents to practice and play against online and at LAN.
If all the best American players lived in 1 state, they could all play together online and at LAN without a sponsor. Unfortunately that's not possible. Making a team of 5 skilled players spread out across America would take a lot of dedication. Without a good sponsor that team will die after one bad placement.
More lans, more dedication, more people that share the same interests as you. Since the countries are so close together a player in Sweden can play with players from germany, romainia, uk, france, etc. Therefore giving them a better feel and experience of outside country gameplay. Also because, unlike americans, people take gaming more seriously and usually aren't ridiculed by the public and in turn are supported by fans and other media rather than being called "nerd" "loser" and such.
And because they have f0rest, GeT_RiGhT, GuX, and Neo
makes sense i guess........ u can play with teams in other countries and ping good and lan with. more exp i guess... o yeah and way less hackers!!!!! can anyone account for this? i can
More experienced players(not better, just more good players. While we only have a couple) More Support WAY better pings. Way more LANS/Sponsors. Everyone supports gaming everywhere else but NA.(Like soccer!)
Like all swedes, when a boy is born, he is inspected, or if he was sickly or misshapen he would of been discarded. By the time he could stand he was baptized in the fire of cs. Taught never to retreat, never to surrender, that death in cs was the greatest glory he could achieve. The finest cs players the world has ever known.

#33 covered all the bases. a lot of the teams now and days in america have a really big ego and think that they're the coolest people ever. when was the last time you ever went into a pub and said that "this kid was bad" or was called "bad?"
No idea but i know there manners and mentality is twice what we have to offer and the US. Were all online over here, and every now and then a team that does it on lane will go international for a swift second.
i think its cause they constantly play with that low ping that when they go to a lan it feels normal. AS WELL i think the aggressive play style has something to do with it
i am pretty sure the US was on par with the euros when cs was a semi new game. 10 years later no one really cares about the game. which means no new players come to the game. plus all of our talented players are playing football basketball and other sports. the swedes are good at cs, what sport are they good at? none.
Our internet completely dominates the internet in America. I think we are more dedicated also, we have that desire to win. I know there are some teams in the US, that do, but they just don't work and practice as hard as us. Practice makes perfect.
Barely any cheaters over in europe, unlike in america. LAN like crazy, and they ping low over internet play, so its like, they go lan, they're used to it because they ping 10 on the net. Better community, and they have LAN doing tournies and BYOC tournies.

even euro mix's are competitive, everyone calls their spots etc etc...

pretty much everything mentioned, plus the fact that so many american players switched to/play cs:s.
