I just reformatted recently i get new drivers and everything but my mouse like freezes up in cs and my fps has dropped from 99 to like 60-75. And in my cs theres pixilated weird areas where its just like blurry or the screen cuts out a bit.

you install windows 7?

ive been hearing a lot of people having similar problems with windows 7.

no i got windows XP home. its like my cs is skipping and freezing every once in a while

prolly drivers

what should my settings be? i got the newest drivers

sometimes newest driver are not the best. whats your setup

radeon x1650 pro is my graphics card.

Honestly, use the drivers that come with the graphics card. Also, don't install Service Pack 3 of WIN XP home. Last but not least, certainly take off VSYNC. Make sure you got Direct X 9+ also...

I think it skips because random low fps drops
not sure though. help me find correct drivers or good driver settings please. I have no idea what im doing lol
