i did some research in gotfrags user gear, collectively the average seems to be (ive ordered them by price range):
group 1: deathadder, qck, hd555, razer keyboard group 2: mx518, qck, 5hv2, ms keyboard group 3:ms 3.0, qck or other, 5hv2, generic keyboard
these also seem to have been the trend for some time. this is what i believe will be the trend in the next, say, 2 years:
group 1: xai, ath-ad700, qck+, razer keyboard group 2: deathadder, qck+, hd555, razer keyboard (about 20% of group 2 will use mx518) group 3kinzu, qck, 5hv2, generic or ms keyboard (about 20% using mx518 or 3.0)
i think in the long run, xai will take over da as the top mouse, and audio technica over sennheiser. this will probably take about 1 year to do so, as the xai will need time to drop in price. im not sure if anyone noticed this, but the deathadder was the same price as the xai at release date.
