coL had way more opportunities to watch demos from important lan matches played by EG and anti-strat
if anything this just makes me realize EG isn't WAY better then coL, and that they actually can compete.

coL has money this questions has been answered a lot. Two of the coL players are in school and they can't take that much time off. I believe its drew and dboorn. They have the money, its just the players cant attend every event.
Pretty sure they skip GameGune to go to WCG but that didn't go as planned.
An education is more important than losing to Fnatic/SK/MYM etc Apparently they said that they plan out the events that they want to go to. That's why they skipped gamegune to go to WCG because WCG was so much more awesome.

Ya EG lost to DINC, I mean heck, Fnatic picked up Gux>R and in 1 week won a tournament beating all the top teams, same for SK(face&kHRYSTL). Even MYM picking up zet&moddi did really good. DINC suprised everyone, defiantly EG, EGOS2BIG~. I mean I'm not saying DINC is bad, but let DINC play vs invite teams play for a month and they wont do so well because they will know how they play. EG got out randomed. The commentators in the ESEA vent were even saying so. Also EG is CRAP without n0thing fragging.
And yeah, I do believe coL > EG ever since they become the new coL. So don't think im trying to fanboy for EG. Congrats for coL!

dinc was not as much as a pug as people think..... they had the same strats as they did in the season with lin.... and not like they did terrible in the season when lin started calling for them

I also find it funny that when EG won Gamegune everyone said they were amazing because they beat WMF, who didnt even make it out of group at Chengdu, IIRC. Now theyre saying 1 lan doesnt count.
The top 4-5 teams in NA are very close in skill, close enough that on any day either of them can beat the other, as we saw with Dinc vs EG at the ESEA-I lan, Turmoil vs coL (WCG USA), and Loaded vs EG (WCG USA).
Im starting to think every EG fan boy is just a troll, as this would make the most sense.
col is the best team in NA and this roster will keep getting better as their teamwork improves. in that aspect theres a LONG way to go to catch up to euro teams. their fragging ability is insane tho
who cares who's #1 in NA? i'm just glad that NA CS has more than 1 good team that can compete internationally. the real thing we need to be discussing is how raged evo is after coming in dead last at lan :D
coL was invited to Kode5 at the last minute. They were unable to obtain a passport for one of their players quick enough. They should be invited to Dreamhack and would attend if invited according to management. I think this team could compete just fine with teams from across the globe.
DINC did what B2B couldnt do last esea-i finals.... they played like a pug and out shot their opponents... thats wat B2B shoulda done instead of going over strats 1-2 before the tourney
