i just built my PC and everything is running fine but i cant install the latest drivers for my GPU. i have an XFX 5770. i download the latest drivers, install, but during installation the drivers do something and then the scaling of everything gets completely screwed. like the icons and stuff are off my monitor and.. only fixes if i uninstall that driver.
agh harle im trying that.. now i cant even install the drivers that came with my disk because the program wont run when i put it in... im currently driver-less :( i took a SS, but on paint it looks normal... maybe it is my monitor
during driver installation it says "Driver has stopped working and is now responding again..." it does this everytime my screen goes black and then the icons n sht go off my monitor. i have redowloaded it three times, 2 from ati website 1 from XFX

i found out that my cs runs better with that ATI card.
i trashed my Nvidia evga 260 GTx. card is trash.
so i just went to msi.com and go ther lastest drivers and it worked.
so maybe try xfx.com ? maybe not sure gL_
nvidia is trash now.
