i'm on a 206bw (20" samsung, 1680x1050) playing cs @ 800x600. i hate playing with maintain aspect ratio because i can't get 75hz (60hz feels awful to me on fps games) and playing in a 4:3 box on a 20" monitor kind of sucks
i'd be fine with playing on 800x600 stretched to 16:10, but the stretch causes the x-axis sensitivity to feel higher than the y-axis. this causes diagonal crosshair movements to feel awkward amongst other things. would adjusting the m_yaw (i think that's the cvar for horizontal mouse sensitivity) to compensate for the stretch be a good idea, or would it cause other problems?
