The World Cyber Games USA ( www.wcgusa.com ) recently announced the prizes for their events. Every player that advances beyond the semi-finals at their local CompUSA qualifier will receive a free computer when they attend the WCG USA finals in August. All the computers will come equipped with a new nVidia graphics card and a Samsung 19" Flat CRT Monitor, valuing at $2000 each. This is for all the players that attend the finals, and doesn't include the all expenses paid trip to Korea to compete in the WCG Finals ( www.worldcybergames.org ) for a total of $400k in cash prizes that the WCG USA winners will receive.

All in all I think that these are some extremely good prizes, and definitely make up for the lack of funding to send WCG USA finalists to the finals event.
