WCG Canada is happy that the Nerve Centre Cafe is hosting the BC qualiifer event. Nerve was the place reccomended by many of the players that we contacted regarding a possible BC location. It is also the home of Team Nerve, who was the Silver medal winner in 2002 at the WCG Daejon Grand Final. We look forward to seeing Team Nerve try to make it back to another Grand Final as Canada's CS representatives. Of course they will have to get by last year's WCG Canada CS champs, EG, who are also based out west.

WCG Canada is happy to team up with CrossHairs to host our Alberta qualiifier, our first ever WCG event in Edmonton, Alberta. We look forward to seeing all of Alberta's best gamers at this event, as well as those players that come from any of the other western provinces. We look forward to seeing Hypnotize, our UT2K3 #2 player last year, try to make Team Canada for a second year.
