To kick off the Xfire Summer of E-Sports in the States, Team 3D’s Call of Duty division will be hosting an open shoot around on July 16 from 8 – 11 pm EST. The event is free to participants, just download and create an Xrfire account and add the special friend account listed on www.xfire.com (originally “play3d” but this name changes as more people signup and becomes play3d2, play3d3, etc) to your friends list. To demonstrate Xfire’s capabilities, Team 3D will play Call of Duty on different U.S. public servers and as long as there is room on the game server, participants can join the fun with a single click. 3D.CoD members will be be changing servers periodically throughout the event.

July will also include a Play with TSG Xfire event to welcome them back to the United States from the E-Sports World Cup in France. Other events to play with top teams and the first ever ESEA Instructor Hunt will be happen through August and September so be sure to stay tuned and connected through Xfire.

Xfire is the first chat client and social networking tool made specifically for gamers and is compatible with over 150 games including CS, CoD, and WC3 to show what game, Ventrilo, and Team Speak servers your friends are playing on and let you join with just one click. E-Sports Entertainment will also be organizing FREE Xfire events that feature Pro Teams, instructors, and other top players for Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, and War Craft III to ALL players as well as an E-Sports Entertainment Xfire skin contest (details to be released).

Xfire is only a 700k download and has no Spyware or other annoying bundles and is now one of our featured downloads in our download section (public download) so be sure to check it out and register for an account.
