Counter-Strike: EYE defeats SK for CPL title

EYE has taken the CPL World Championship by force, defeating SK in an almost embarrassing fashion. SK will take home second place, with Rival taking a very close third. Read on for the final scores.

We are now down to the last 2 teams, playing for the right to call themselves the best in the world. Both teams are from Sweden and have played awesome tournaments. SK is in a position they haven't been in for a long while. They need to win the first map to even have a chance at the title and EYE hasn't shown many weaknesses all weekend long. It should be very exciting to watch and all the action starts at 4pm CST. Be there!

rival almost won so many times..then again so did sk
shame it turned out the way it did
exodus was seriously owning sk..he was like..better than them..whenever he died it wasnt before he put up an awesome fight and killed at least one sk member

can you plz get over that Rival lost? Does anyone remember the old eoL vs SK fights. They almost always got into OT where SK lost. Noone said a word about that(that it was in ot) then.

I am not taking away anything from Rival though. They are the best team in America.

Why can't they just draw, and both teams be the winner?

#21 I dunno if you watched Rival play vs. NoA, SK, Titans, or Dsky, but when I watched them play vs. those clans they were incredibly fun to watch.

mountain timezone is west of pacific and east of central...-1hour from Central.

I hope EYE takes it, they've always seemed like a great team, and even after going off the radar from switching names, CXG disaster, they've managed to stay a really strong team without the same support that a team like SK/4K or other Europeans have. It's a shame their couldn't be more european teams at this event, but if there was there wouldnt be any NA teams at the top
