Today’s Eurocup match-ups feature a selection of Europe’s finest, as they clash on the second play day of the ClanBase Eurocup. World-class teams such as Titans and AMD Cyber Team meet up-and-coming teams like DarkSide and the acclaimed boomtown on inferno tonight.

The Titans vs DarkSide
Danish powerhouse team, The Titans have already proven their right to be placed in the Eurocup by winning this year’s ESWC against the highly praised Swedes spiXel, in a very close match ending 13-11. They also had a similar score against the former Team Stomping Grounds team who went from strength to strength at that tournament. Not to mention a few decent results against D-Skyline and GoodGame at the CPL Summer Extreme this year. DarkSide, from Spain, boasting a few losses against teams such as ocrana and Infinity eSports this year, but also have an impressive victory over now-folded UK team LastChance. It’s possible DkS may feel a need to show their worthiness of such an opponent as The Titans, but will this create any opportunity for a victory?

AMD CyberTeam vs JustPlay.Boomtown
From Switzerland; Boomtown, recently partnered with JustPlay, and from the Czech Republic: AMD Cyber Team. There’s a thin line between two teams of such calibre, and one of these teams must cross this line tonight. CyberTeam, supported by hardware giant; AMD and indeed the car manufacturer Peugeot, recently attended the EOGC Event in London fired up to destroy any opposition that they encountered. However, they walked away with a close 12-12 tie with French superstars GG, and a disappointing 13-11 loss to UK clan ‘Landed’. Do these results show what kind of team boomtown will be dealing with?

DefuseKids vs Metropolis
A skilled Metropolis team, supported by the gaming centre of the same name, are finally coming out of the dark to face the team with the most brilliant logo I’ve seen in a long time. Defusekids have a somewhat nice record to show, and have been dominating the Belgian scene pretty securely. Is it enough to dominate even a small quantity of the Swedish scene?
