Pre-Match Predictions Gamers.Nu vs Cortex This is where it happens. Here we have two of the some of best teams from their respective countries, Gamers.nu from Sweden and, some of my good friends; ctx, formally known as CyberTeamX from the UK. Two of the best teams from their countries, they most definitely are, however the last time these two teams met was at the CPL UK Qualifier Event at Landed LAN earlier this year, ending with Gnu destroying ctx, who didn’t even manage to pull a round back. However owing to a few roster changes recently, I find it hard to believe that ctx will let this happen again. Ctx have yet to challenge their new line-up against a team of such calibre as Gamers.nu, but hopefully the recent change-around in their roster will favour them tonight, unlike it seemed to at the recent WeGotRhythm 5 LAN in Manchester, UK where ctx left scarred with defeats by CHEERS and FireSomething. I spoke to ctx|trippin and ctx|nixoh, who seem to think to beat Gnu would be hard but not an impossible feat, and they had this to say: Ctx|nixoh: “Last time we played Gamers.nu they took us apart quite easy but months later and a very different team im sure we can do much better, a win would be great and not impossible but a reasonable goal would be more than 10rounds” Ctx|trippin: “Its a very different team since last time we met, and alot more work has gone into it. I still think they are a very strong side. Their would be no point in me saying we were going to go in and get owned, so hopefully we can pull off a win, or give them at least a close game.” Gnu: Skipper, dsn, cArn, Calippo, Nebb Ctx: Grum, trippin, Damarus, nixoh, NicholaisoN Prediction: Gamers.nu > cortex (16-10) a-Losers.MSI vs extremely demented kids Straight out of Hungary and fresh from their superb performance at WCG Hungary, comes team xDk. Losing only a single game at WCG (A close 13-11 loss too, versus SBC), xDk look to be on great form and will hopefully give German side ‘a-Losers’, supported by MSI, AMD and Kingston, a run for their money. Both teams seem to be on the same level here, and we can expect nothing but a good game tonight, as a-Losers’ moderate performance at WCG Germany shows that they may well not be on top form as they go into tonight’s match-up. a-Losers: bodo, don, mys, kapio, fleks xDk: DoZeR, kic$i, sh0kk, szasza, Twineee Prediction: xDk > a-Losers (16-12) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
