Tension is soaring through the air tonight, as 6 of Europe’s more or less unknown , yet superbly skilled teams have their chance to stick their neck out of the pool of such teams and possibly join the world class rankings as we begin the forth play day of the ClanBase Eurocup Week 1, Season 10 – de_inferno.

Pre-Match Predictions
redrum vs clan-vic

We have redruM from Finland and clan-vic from Sweden. It will be a real close competition between these 2 Scandinavian teams on a map like de_inferno. At the left corner of the ring, team RedruM, who are known outside of Finland as the 3rd team in Finland. They have 3rd place finishes at many Online and LAN events (Finnish Esport League, Tiltgames-2). At the right corner, team Clan Virus Internet Cafe. Everybody in Europe remembers them from their nice games at Rendezvous events. Their lineup looks like a very nice dream team: saman from xP, who played with them at CPL qualifiers in Greece and won it, Sydow, former GoL player, and 3 new Swedish talented players. After the main favorites have already played, this match will be one the most popular matchup tonight. So if we will look at last results, clan-vic has a better chance to win.

Team-Edit vs. Focus-Fire
This is more like it, Dutch team ‘edit’ take on FocusFire from Norway in a potentially all-star game tonight. Edit have recently returned on top form from the NetworkingDay LAN and have been very active in NECL with some seriously impressive wins against ForZe and Restyled and an equally impressive narrow loss against mysod.nl, 14-16. That’s not to say Focus Fire haven’t had their fair share of winnings lately, but all that means nearly nothing, it’s what happens on the night that counts – and it may just be a mistake, but Focus-Fire seem to still have ‘juve9le’ Svendson from 4Kings on their ClanBase roster, if for some reason we see him appear tonight, the tables may well turn completely.

Iceclan vs. Unnatural
Here we have iceclan from Iceland and ‘Unnatural’ from Finland, duking it out on inferno tonight, two relatively unknown, very able clans with relatively unknown, very able players. Needless to say, this will be one of the less popular matches of tonight, but we have no reason to believe that it won’t be a good ‘un! The outcome of this match can really only be determined by which team is on better form at the time, and my prediction can only be based on who I think can be more consistent tonight…
