While on the outside this event drew a ton of publicity really it came down to how well one team would play. The Kings, four of them to be exact, played up to their potential this weekend in their home ground, the UK. No big names; SK.swe, EYE, spiXel or mouz, leaving 4Kings with the opportunity to dominate the major pre-CPL qualifier in Europe.

4Kings did what they needed to do, but the same could be true for both Asylum and GG. Neither team really had much of a chance if 4K came ready and played the way they should. Either way, both hoped to come in and find an event left wide open by previously weak 4K teams, the fact is that wasn’t true this time around. The big surprise was the comeback of SSV Lehnitz, a solid central European team. After losing badly to Portuguese 5Giants 23-7 in group play, SSV Lehnitz rebounded beating Plan-B and giving GG a heck of a fight 16-11.
