Counter-Strike: WCG Regionals in action tonight

Tonight we see 8 teams in 4 different regions do battle for the chance to attend the WCG USA 2005 Finals which will be held in New York. Stay tuned for all the regional coverage
With the WCG USA 2005 Finals being only weeks away, we saw some WCG Regional action being played tonight. With 8 teams participating in the four regional finals, only 4 will earn themselves a trip to New York for the finals.

The 4 regionals being played tonight are :

North-East
South-East
Central
Western

In the North-Eastern regional we saw the Green Berets face off against Adverse-Reality in a best of 3 format. GB has been steadily improving and has made some solid roster moves in the past few months.

The South-Eastern regional had compLexity going head to head with the CAL-Invite team, exigent. coL was the heavy favorite and came out on top with a score of 2-0.

The Central regional has two fairly unknown teams facing off against each other, but both deserve a trip to the big apple.

The Western regional has two of California's best in the battle for WCG USA 2005. idemise is the favorite in this match, but don't count out Netfragz as they won CAL-P not very long ago. Expect this to be a very well-fought match.
