LAN-Z has announced that the Argentinean CS team aRmy has accepted an invite to the event and has received a spot in the final bracket of the tournament.

I may just be confused, but does this mean that they automatically make it to the finals of the tournament, or they just automatically get a spot, no payment for registration needed?

#12 starcraft is one of the most popular games out there and starcraft players are celebrities in Korea.. its bigger then counter-strike but since it's more concentrated in Korea instead of world wide it just seems less competitive..

#21, it just means they play in the actual tournament.. no need to pass the qualifiers that lesser known teams have to

And doesn't matter if any of "the greatest players" attend to the event or no, because many good teams will be there like Misiolan from Argentina or Unforgiven and Cyber World X from Paraguay...
When we get invited to the WCG... YOU WILL SEE THE POWER OF PARAGUAY
