At 21:00 CET tomorrow Sweden will play Denmark in the final of the Clanbase Nations Cup VIII. The game will take place on de_train and will be highly competitive as all-star line-ups fielded by both sides compete for the pride of Europe.

Team Sweden advanced to the final suffering just one default defeat to Slovakia in the group stages. Their group stage games saw them defeat Italy (30 - 0), Belguim (24 - 6), Iceland (18 - 12) and Norway in a brilliant 16 - 14 encounter. In the quarter-finals they played former NC winners Austria and walked away with a 16 - 12 victory. Then almost a fortnight ago Sweden defeated ENC champions Germany 16 - 7 on Inferno to advance into the final.

Denmark recovered from shaky near victories over Bulgaria (16 - 14) and Netherlands (16 - 14) in the group stages to score victories over Slovenia (21 - 9), Serbia and Montenegro (25 - 5) and Poland (18 - 12). The Danes then comfortably saw off France (21 - 9) and yesterday conquered Norway 16 - 10.

Denmark faces a line-up dilemma as they await confirmation on Clanbase rules which state no more than three players of any one team can play in a game. With yesterday's announcement regarding zonic's move to Clan-IT the present line-up would include four Clan-IT players. However, these rules may only apply to the team line-ups when the Clanbase Nations Cup VIII season began. If Clanbase admins rule against Denmark, Arcadion of The-Entry will replace Clan-IT's mje.

Sweden have yet to confirm their line-up, but manager Rush suggested it should be similar to that which defeated Germany in the semi-finals. The team for tomorrow will be confirmed once Rush has checked the availability of the SK.swe players.

How have your teamss been preparing for this final and how important is this game to you ?

Sweden|Rush - Well, we have not prepared at all as a team as all of my players are in heavy training for upcoming events as WEG and CPL.uk. So I can say that they are prepared individually. I think it´s important in one way, to show Europe that we are the Nr.1 country in Counter-strike. After some problems with not getting to ENC we still beat Germany kinda easy (<3 sput) so I can almost say that if we win the finals we are the best country in all ways.

Denmark|Bendtsen - The guys haven't prepared at all, maybe one or two games have been played. I believe they are gonna play some matches tonight but I am not sure. The match is pretty important :), everybody wants to win, i think it will be very though though.

Which players in the opposing line-up are you most afraid of?

Sweden|Rush - Since I don´t know their team I have no idea really. But I guess the team according to some comments I would say all of them. Train is an important map for the awp and FAG is MAD with a awp on train. Saw him giving SK.dk a hard time in the finals, zonic kicked out mouz in the semi finals of ESWC. Since the danish players are not known internationally that well it´s hard to know how they play so it´s hard. But I am glad they don´t have whimp. I saw him giving SK.dk a difficult time in the eps.dk finals

Denmark|Bendtsen - Well I would have to say the whole team, young talents merged with some old experienced guys, very intimidating lineup

What are your predictions for the final score?

Sweden|Rush - lol, I hate that question! 16-12 to us then, some hard work as CT will payoff in the end

Denmark|Bendtsen - Hard to say, I hope we will win :) my prediction would be 16-14 to Denmark :)
