Anitti "Mysse" Larte, formerly of GameOnline, DSkyline and MARVEL, has replaced elemeNt for Four-Kings Intel at this weekend's UK leg of the CPL World Tour. Larte is an experienced Finnish Counter-Strike player who has achieved considerable success in the gaming scene with previous teams, most notably 2nd place at CPL Winter 2002 with GameOnline. Over the past year Larte has struggled to find a team with a stable line-up jumping from the short-lived IronZion to D-Skyline and most recently, MARVEL. For Four-Kings, they yet again suffer a last minute setback, something of a tradition leading up to major events for the brits. After a six week practice stint in Stockholm for CPL Winter last year Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen dropped out and had to be quickly replaced by Louis "Red`" Nyberg, then just a week before the World eSport Games season 1 final early this year Harriman flew home for personal reasons and Andersen was called upon as a late replacement. Neither Joona "Natu" Leppänen, nor Larte, have played at a LAN event with 4K in the past. Leppänen was only recently added to the team following Red`s departure last month. There have been a number of rumours in the past few weeks suggesting that perhaps Moum would like to withdraw from gaming completely, and if that were the case then Larte could well become a full time member, as has happened with previous players such as Harvey "Xenon" Migotti, Andersen, and Nyberg. In playing with Four-Kings this weekend Larte joins up with fellow countryman, and former IronZion and DSky teammate, Leppänen. When asked if Larte's addition for the competition was a result of Moum's missing his flight for a third time Leppänen stated "Basically yes and he [elemeNt] has some school work to catch up with". The change means that the 4K team for this weekend is as follows: Keir "aKuJii" Mccann Marc Mangiacapra Joona "natu" Leppänen Jonas "Goodfella" Virtanen Anitti "Mysse" Larte |
