Counter-Strike: mTw cancels UK attendance

After the disbandment of mTw-Gaming's infamous Swedish squad, a German team arose to fill their shoes. In an unforeseen announcement mTw.ATi cancels their first tournament appearance

Sadly to announce, mTw.ATI has to cancel its first international tournament, the CS Invite Tourney at the World Tour Stop in Sheffield. This is because

hades, who replaced HUNTi in the starting lineup, has become sick. The issue started yesterday while the team was practicing. Today, he went to the doctor and got briefed that he has pyelitis and is thereby unable to travel to Sheffield. We think there wasn't enough time to practice with sNej and learn him all the tactics/arrangements. This is also the reason that sNej played in tonights EPS match for hades

mTw just sucks.. the only event they've won was a lagy clickarena (or what was it called?) that every team except them (obviously) said sucked..

#6 you're trying to talk about lanarena 7. and no, not every team said the event sucked. mostly sk did, not too suprinsingly, since they got owned like 0-12 on aztec after winning the first half 11-1 or something. mtw got 2nd at wcg 2001 as well, won an eurocup along with doing good at a few cpl's and in the eps. furthermore the clan wasn't/isn't just cs. they won wc3l (twice i think) and had an ut-team that hardly lost, too. and this new (cs-)team didn't really have a chance to compete at international lan-events yet, so give those guys a break plz instead of uselessly and malaproposly flaming them O_o

concerning the topic: too bad, after mouz and a-l it's the third team (i know of) cancelling its attendance inthe uk :/

the new team is even worse, that's the point. plus the whole mTw organization is a joke nowadays. their future looked bright 2 years ago, but they really showed how not to manage a clan.

The new cs team will be top 10 in europe. The other squads do really good too (except the wc3 atm).
Maybe the current situation is not that bright as in history when they won many different Eurocups and so on, but it is going better again.

the german 1.6 team hardly is top5 in germany, don't tell me they "will be top 10 in europe". thats bs and you know that.

#22, they basically are already Top5 in Germany because of their 2nd place at the last EPS Finals.

#25 they share the second place whit "pro-Gaming.de" .. its online .. nuff said.

mouz, ocrana, attax, Team64 & a-L sure build the german top5.
like #26 said, noone really cares about online results.

the finals are played on lan. and on a sidenote, team64 lost 7:23 in the eps against mtw a week ago. a huge loss, even for a match played online.

eh so why did you bring up that mTw won over SK back in 2001 on aztec in a worthless organizated tournament like it was a big accomplishment? And then you rack up poor excuses why they haven't performed.

conclusion - some peoble dont like the clan mtw.

Should we expect an updated list of attening teams now that Begrip and mtw.ati have dropped and NoA has added. Or maybe a tourny preview similiar to the ones pre-CPL and pre-ESWC?

#31 lanarena 7 was held in july 2002, i didn't even really mention it was mtw who won against sk, and i never "racked up" any excuse for them "not perfoming" but said we didn't even get a chance to SEE them perfom on an international lan event so far since they didn't have the chance to ATTEND one yet.

damn, it's almost ridiculous how few you understand of what you're reading...
