This year, the WCG has kept their previous stance of using the most recent release of cs. That being said, the Grand Finals will be Counter-Strike: Source. It will be very interesting to see how teams adapt to this, as we have already seen a huge cleft in the US community over the two games. Will 3D be able to adapt to Source and defend their title? We shall soon see.

Released tonight, are the first round groups. Only the winners of these 16 groups will advance to the single elimintation round. As we identify the teams who have qualified for WCG we will fill their names in.
