Here we are once again with another Team 3D vs Complexity match up. These two have faced one another several times in the past months at various different tournaments. The most recent match saw 3D vs coL in the Digital Life Grand Finals where 3D was able to win in two consecutive maps. 3D was able to recently regain the #1 spot in the GotFrag North American rankings with their dominance over the former number one team, compLexity, at the WCG US Qualifier, Digital Life and GGL Finals. However, the return of Justin "sunman" Summy will be a huge boost to coL's roster and confidence. Before his retirement, Summy and coL dominated much of the Counter-Strike scene and won the ESWC tournament in convincing fashion. Stay tuned to GotFrag for all the action and coverage!

I wouldn't be surprised if coL won. 3D should be focusing quite heavily on source at the moment and I don't think shaG is playing with 3D at the moment either (whether that is a negative or a positive has yet to be determined).

I'd prefer it be a lan match because of isp issues that can randomly occur and idiots that attempt to join a match and tk the first person they see, but other than those little annoyances this match should be amazing.

Isnt the match tomorrow morning for us lot in europe, as it says Start Time: Tue Nov 8 at 2:00 AM LT. Which, (unless i've slept around the clock) means tomorrow.

I swear to f-cking god... every thread has "It's online" or some type of variance... I'm not a big fan of "flaming" but shut the hell up with that. A win is a win a loss is a loss. Wouldnt matter if it was played on the moon. This especially applies to two respectable teams that we can pretty much say for sure dont cheat - so being online = not a factor.

I'm pretty damn sure that ping/server quality wont be an issue either. One thing that may be a factor imo is however... I'm quite sure (like Wildbill said) that 3D's primary focus is on source atm. I seriously doubt however, that they're just gonna let a match that has been hyped up for so long just slip through their fingers because they're studying source. Then again... I'm pretty sure coL wants this more than anyone.

What it boils down to is... the better team will win.

GreatMuta, how can you be sure there wont be a ping/server issue? Seeing as how ksharp and various members of 3D are plagued by poor isps?

Theres a reason there are no great online tournaments - because online is not remotely like lan.

Don't see why people put down either 3D or coL especially when your american. We should be happy that we have 2 of the best teams in the world in our country. Every time they play against each other the matches are so intense that it keeps all the vieweres glued to the computer screen.

Only in CAL-I CS can you pick up a player for your roster before playoffs and still have him become eligable to play through the playoffs as well.
