BSL has become somewhat of a household name through his experiences with teams MiBR and NoA and CS Frag Movie "BSL from the Block". BSL is now back and stronger than ever with as captain of his current team, Catch Gamer (ranked 10th in the world), and looks to make a strong run at the upcoming CPL Winter, just 1 day away.


How do you believe Catch Gamer will fair at CPL? What place is Catch Gamer shooting for?

I always say top 5 because I'm extremely annoyed when we don't reach that goal, and happy when we do top 3 so Top 5(or top 3 if we have a very good tournament).

Do you think its possible Catch Gamer will take out defending champions SK.swe? Do you think Catch Gamer is a better team?

Take nothing away from SK, they have been and still are, I believe, a great team even though they won a tournament lacking 75% of the worlds top teams to become summer champions. Still we have 1 loss to those shady Swedes this year (when they were NiP in Barcelona) so I guess we're the underdog, but of course it's possible to beat them - why else would we be going =?

List your top 5 finishers for CPL.

I wouldn't dare to speculate that much - this tournament is maybe the toughest ever with 10-15 teams that could go all the way, I'll leave that to Midway!

Which team do you consider a darkhorse that has a chance?

Darkhorse ? Uhm...is Project_kr going ;-D?

My darkhorse for this event is Astralis - as always (I love you guys hi tih0p!)

Which team is the most likely to flop at CPL?

Predicting that can come back and bite me in the ass -very fast- so I'll pass on that one boss!

How does Catch Gamer compare to NoA, or your other big name teams?

I almost went all the way with NoA(from seed 27 thankyouverymuch) at winter 2003. I didn't have fun while playing and didn't trust my teammates as friends(smart move it would seem). In CG we have a group of loveable guys who are good friends as well as skilled, and proven(throughout 2005) competitors which I love to travel and compete with.

Looking at the team list I’d say this tournament ranks near the top (if not the top) of the most competitive tournaments of all time -- Your thoughts?

I would have to agree even though this summers ESWC was hard too it still lacked the finalists from WEG2(Catch and Begrip) among others. I think the only top teams we won't see in Dallas is the Chinese and that's sad because I would love to play them ;)

What is your favorite thing about the CPL in Texas?

The way the tournament is organized - no delays, perfect computers no questions asked etc - in my opinion the way to organize a tournament is to make sure your top 5 priorities is to have good equipment, sadly not all tournament organizers recognize the importance of it that much.

I went out with some people summer 03, and we got tickets to Metallica at the Dallas stadium - that was pretty fun ;)

What do you think of the snazzy cowboy hats (well not so snazzy urban cowboy hats anyhow) SK.swe sported at CPL Summer?

I think that's a sad way to try and improve their Swedish image, everyone knows that you need to have the balls of a true Texan to wear those - bad job guys!
