Mousesports joins the infamous list of playbooked teams. Bootman takes a look at Mousesports tactics on Nuke, Train, and Inferno.

de_nuke: Defense
Pistol Round

Watch for mouz to try this pistol round CT setup. They have a 2-1-2 setup. This has two players outside doing a stack with one on the outside boxes and one on the ground. In the ramp room they have two players playing with one on the ramp box and one on the ground. The fifth player will be on the rafters to watch hut. This isn't too risky since the two outside players have quick and easy entry into the upper site from outside.
*note* If mouz has to eco on defense they usually buy d.eagles.
Roman R.

Roman will be the solo ramp player. This is pretty risky if you ask me, I don't care if god himself is playing ramp room, this is one of the easiest sites to rush on any map, there is no way one player can hold this by himself against a good team. Roman starts off with the routine flashbang and then he plays kind of dumb. Not only is he a sitting duck in the ramp by himself, he plays on top of the boxes or in front of them, so basically he is always peeking. Guess what Roman, when you get picked off from the radio room and your backup is on the opposite side of the rafters, you and your team are pretty much screwed.
Also watch for Roman to be on a quick flank if upper is in trouble. He'll push the radio room rather fast and come through the hut or squeak door.
Gore

Gore is the floor player. He is one of those guys that likes to drop from the rafters to play floor. The only problem with this, is the fact that hes not very good at dropping onto the boxes in the site. See landing on the boxes will only take off 25 health max. Landing on the ground can do up to 70 damage taking you to 30...So when you get rushed in upper with as much life as you would have taking two AK bullets to the chest, it isn't really a good situation for you.
Other than being a putz, gores favorite spot to play is on top of the hut. This is one of the best spots to play from. You can watch the squeak door, hut window, hut entrance, and even outside if the offense hugs the wall. The only draw back to this is that when this guy has 30 health after a botched drop from the rafters, if a nade lands in the right spot in the hut, he's turning into superman going for a little flight. If he's not on the hut he is almost always playing from the bombsite box. And once again going back to him having 30 hp, if mouz's opponents read this, I highly suggest banking an HE grenade off the wall to the bomb boxes for an easy kill.
Papst

Papst is the guy that switches it up the most for mouz. He is another player inside. Wheres he playing?! Rafters? Floor!? OUTSIDE?!?!?! YA NEVER KNOW WITH THIS FELLOW! He is mostly going to play the floor inside coming from outside. He likes to have a flashbang primed so when the door is opened quick, he lobs one of those bad oscars in there to slow the rush down a little. One problem is that he seems to get picked from the hut window...a LOT. When he plays in the rafters, which is pretty rare, he likes to play on the opposite side of the rafters rather than near the ladder.
Blizzard

Blizzard is the closest thing to backup that Roman R. is going to have. He is almost always right above the ladder or on the railing of the rafters near the ladder. But the problem is that sometimes he likes to go to the opposite rafters which screws Roman even more than he already is. So blizzy, if you're reading this, I suggest you stay above the ladder as much as possible.
It is also rare, but sometimes blizzard will go outside into the garage.
de_nuke: Offense
Pistol Round
The last time mouz played nuke, they did a slow ramp tactic. They made sure that there were no pushes up top or from the ramp. They played coL and they gave up the ramp, kind of. CoL had two players sitting in the vents with quick access to either site.
There isn't much to cover on mouz's offense. They pretty much only run two tactics. They run them well, but if you start getting repetitive against a team that can adapt, you're sort of S.O.L., because you have nothing else practiced.
Inner Tactic

Mouz is very good at this, so they like to run it a lot. They send one outside, one hut. The other three are flashing to open the door then throwing more flashes than I even knew you could afford out of the door to the outside entrance, then they go on to flash behind the bombsite boxes and they take the site. The inner site is virtually blind, so when a team starts to give up the site so they can just retake it, mouz is all out of nades and luck.
Inner Fake
After they run the inner fake a few times they do the exact same thing, but then they start pushing up to the ramp. Not too complicated.
