de_train: Defense

Pistol Round

Mouz had two players push the top of the inner bombsite and then they fell back to watch it defensively. Two players at first pushed to ladder room then one stayed and one fell back to watch middle. One watched alley from the right side.

Papst/Blizzard

These two will cover the inner bombsite. Papst plays top and blizzard plays lower. They don't switch it up too much. Papst likes to play upper from the top ramp most of the time, but with a colt. Other than that expect him to be on a train in the back or pushed up to watch the stairs from the upper hallway. When the outter bombsite is taken he is usually quick to flank the ladder, or at least watch to make sure they don't come back up the ladder.

Blizzard is covering lower from one of two spots. He sometimes plays on the hump on the lower ramp back near counter-terrorist spawn. If you come down the ramp and do not see him there, watch for him to be playing somewhere around the pop dog train. He can be on top of it, under it, or in front of it at an angle. He likes to play more pushed up, because he has a good colt and usually gets the most frags from a pushed up position.

Another good note about how these two play is that they are always very quick to rotate or flank.

Neo

Neo is a really good player to have on offense. He really understands the concept of having an area and not a spot. This means that he knows where he's supposed to be watching and utilizes the map to watch it from wherever he wants. His job is to watch the ladder room and the ladder room can be seen from many different spots. Although he rarely uses the AWP and chooses the colt instead, it is going to be extremely rare to see him pushed up on the ladder train or around it. He really likes to watch it from the bomb train and on top of the five train a lot. It is a hard shot to hit with a colt, but he gets the job done.

Roman R.

Roman R. is going to be the guy covering the alley. Not to discredit Roman at all because he is an excellent player, but he seems to be the weak spot on mouz's train defense. He dies a lot, but the alley is a very difficult spot to cover with little to no backup. You can guarantee that 99.9% of the time he will be playing somewhere on the right side of the alley with a colt. I don't know if it's a trust issue that he won't get covered from getting shot in the back from middle, or if its just a lack of creativity. The alley is another place that you can watch from many different spots, but Roman seems to keep it simple and say on the spawn side of alley. It also may be so he has the quickest rotation to get to the inner bombsite if it is taken over.

Gore

Gore is probably the second best player on the team next to blizzard. And because of this, mouz decided to put him in the position that takes the most responsibility on this map, middle. Middle is a very open entrance and the offense loves to throw a lot of smokes and flashes out of this entrance to the outer bombsite. From what I saw, he likes to play below the tower most of the time, so he is going to be quick backup for Roman if the alley is taken. He also likes to play in the tower or on the six train. Expect him to not play the same spot two rounds in a row.

de_train: Offense

Pistol Round

Mouz likes to send one guy middle, three guys ladder, and one guy inside upper. They fake outside with flashes and smokes to the bomb train. Then the three fall back from ladder and attack the inner bombsite. When they attack the inner bombsite they like to push it.

Repeat Pistol Round

This is just the same strat but with rifles.

Fake Outside

They like to run this sometimes, but they don't really sell it well enough. Rather than throwing nades outside, they just show themselves. If you've been rushing everywhere with a slew of nades, just showing yourself to the defense isn't going to cut it.

Fast Outside

This is their most effective tactic. They will send three players ladder room smoking and flashing the bomb train and two coming out of the middle doing the same. They like to run this a lot third round if they got a bomb plant in the first two rounds, but lost them.

3-2

This is where they send three alley and two middle. Mouz, mouz, mouz. You guys don't read my articles. When sending any ammount of players alley you need to ISOLATE. By that I mean you have to throw all your smokes to the side you aren't going, and flashes to the side you are. This blinds whoevers looking at you and gives you some nice cover from the back so you don't have to worry about it. Sadly, they don't do this at all.
