de_inferno: Defense
Pistol Round

They started off by sending the standard three players over to middle. The difference was that they sent three smokes down the middle and then two crossed to the left side. One of the players in the right bombsite fell back to help out in A while one stayed and spotted the banana. It looked as though mouz bought smokes instead of flashbangs this round.
Blizzard

First off I'll start this side with saying that they don't just smoke the middle on pistol round, they do it as much as possible. This is a strategy we saw get popular from Forze at ESWC. It really is a great idea, not only are you able to cross untouched most of the time, but you can use it as a spider-web affect. That is something that you start out by doing and you can do many different things off of it. Such as nade middle, go to alternate middle aggressively, take the eyes off of players pushing from banana, whatever you want.
Blizzard is mostly responsible for the left side of middle. It was very rare that you will see him play in the halls. He is usually playing inside of the bombsite or somewhere in the sand pit to watch middle. The only time I really saw him watch the right side of middle was when the offense did a straight rush up the middle to hit that side before he could get to his position after smoking the middle with the rest of his team.
Neo

Neo's main responsibility is going to be the hallways. We have a screenshot above of him playing in the sand pit to watch the halls. This was not something you should expect him to do routinely. I saw him do this only one round and I am almost positive it was due to the fact that it was an eco round and there's no reason for him to give up a rifle two five players rushing him with glocks or d.eagles.
He is usually going to be playing somewhere on the balcony. Sometimes close, and sometimes around the corner near the railing. He will also play in the pit if his teammates start calling that the offense is advancing on the bombsite. Also, be aware that neo will sometimes push up into the halls and play on the staircase or peek it, just so he can get a better idea for the team as to where the offense may be headed. Inferno is a great map to do things like this. Since there are so many places to go, if you can defensively peek an are, just to let your team know where they AREN'T, then you should definately go for it.
Papst

Papst's responsibility is going to be the spawn side of middle. This is the most important spot on inferno. It takes a smart and experienced player to play this part. This player is going to be the main reason why if the B bombsite is taken over, but the round is won, it is mostly because of him. He will be the fastest backup for his two teammates in B.
Papst knows his main responsibility is to backup bombsite B, so he likes to play near counter-terrorist spawn at all times. He really likes to play in the library and sort of let the offense waste flashes and smokes coming up the middle and let them come to him. Besides that he will just play near the spawn staircase watching middle aggressively or passively (passively being letting the offense walk past you and shooting them in the back while aggressively will actually making eye contact when the offense comes up middle).
Gore/Roman R.
These two have three different styles of playing this bombsite.
Bait and Fall Back

The first way is having Roman in an aggressive peek down the banana. Meanwhile gore is rather far back near spawn watching a spot where there is no way the offense could get to without getting through Roman first. At first I didn't understand, until I saw that when Roman sees the offense approaching the B bombsite, he falls back through the back halls into the site.
The Push
This is where they will both throw HE grenades down the banana and then set up on the boxes close to the bombsite. After the ensure that there is no rush coming their way, they will fall back and play normally.
Traditional Crossfire

I really don't like this setup, but almost every team does it when they run a 3-2 defense. This is where one player plays in the site and one is on the spawn side. Why don't I like this? All I teach players is that when you are entering a bombsite you smoke the spawn side first and flash the site everywhere possible. This puts the defense in a one on five rather than a two on five, doesn't seem much, but think about it like dust2. The spawn player is useless when smoked. And you don't really have to worry about bombsite A rotation since the bulk of ur defense is there.
de_inferno: Offense
Pistol Round
Mouz sent one player alternate middle to watch for a push and one player terrorist ramp to watch for a middle push. Three went through the terrorist house to halls where they met the alternate middle player and all four continued to go halls. Unfortunately four defensive players pushed the terrorist ramp so we won't quite know the flashes or smokes that would be used taking A bombsite, if there were any in the first place.
Slow B

Mouz likes to have one player watching an alternate middle push while the other four watch for a middle push and banana push. Then the alternate middle player will rotate over to watch the middle push. The other four will do a quadruple head stack to get one player on the roof to watch for any tricky pushes. They will then to continue to take the bombsite by flashing and smoking spawn side as well as flashing into the site.
Fast 3-2

This is a very quick rush coming from alternate middle. Two go halls and three come up middle smoking the spawn side. The thing I don't get about this tactic is that it could be sold as such a good fake. Everytime the run it, the defensive players in B rotate extremely quick, they could easily go back to B with the three middle players and the bomb while the hall players fake A still.
1-3-1

Four go alternate middle and one branches out and goes into the halls. The other three take middle by smoking the spawn side and flashing the right. The fifth player likes to sit back in the terrorist tower or on the terrorist ramp to wait for the B flank coming from the middle.
B Fake
After hitting the A bombsite a few rounds in a row, be careful of a B fake. They are counter-thinking the defense by making them think that they are finally hitting a new site. Three players will fake like they are doing their slow B tactic while two are in the A halls with the bomb. The three players at B won't just throw smokes and flashes, they will actually attempt to take over the site. So it will be very hard to tell whether it is a fake or not, I suggest an aggressive halls player.
