Counter-Strike: Rival eliminated, x6 moves on

Rival were stunned in the second round of the Upper Bracket against 50|cal, and were not able to recover and have been eliminated by Check Six.
Team Rival was expected to do some damage at the tournament; however, it would not be as they ran into walls known as #50|cal and Check Six. Their lost in the second round of the Upper Bracket sent shockwaves out as they were expected to be a dominant force here at the CPL. After defeating 407 Death Clan 16-4 in their first Lower Bracket match on Cbble Rival moved on to meet up with Check Six in round three.

The match started of well for Rival as they managed to get the opening pistol with two frags from both Torrez and Quach on the defensive side of Dust2. They would easily grab the next two subsequent Check Six eco rounds without losing a single player. In the first gun round, Curbelo managed to get three AWP frags to lead x6 to their first round victory. Check Six would run off the next two rounds before Rival would reply again in the seventh. In round eight, it was Pyo's turn to jump into the spotlight as he managed to get four frags with the AK-47. Both teams would trade rounds until round twelve where Check Six would be able to win out and grab a nine to six lead over Rival.

Rival would get their shot on the favored offensive side in the second half. Rival would manage to get the bomb plant before either team got the first frag. However, Check Six stormed the site taking out all five Rival members and only losing two. They would easily get the defuse and round win, along with the next two eco's. Strong famas play by Coriale in the fourth round gun round lifted Check Six over Rival to get the fourth round and an overall lead of thirteen to six. Rival would buy again the next round and surprise Check Six and easily win the round with only losing one player. Rival would make a run of their own to tie the half score at four to four. However, they would not be able to get any further as Check Six would regain their composure to win out the next three rounds to take the match sixteen to ten, and ending Rivals streak of consecutive third place finishes.
