Lunatic Hai vs. Devastation

ICMATCH=1385,ROUNDS

Midway Says:

A buzz around the BYOC seems to think that the Korean Lunatic could be a force to deal with here at the CPL. They didn’t have trouble with American Devastation as Mal of Lunatic played strong scoring 24 frags and instilled fear in the rest of a very strong field here at the CPL.

Alchemist Says:

Top Korean team Lunatic Hai makes its CPL debut vs. USA’s team Devastation.

The first half was all Lunatic as CT as Cliper put on an AWP clinic for the spectators and the teams very aggressive strats kept Devastaton off balance. It was common for Lunatic to push 3 player down the middle at the start of the round. Mal was the real stand out player getting 24 frags in the first half.

The second half looked to be the same story as the Koreans won the pistol round but Devastaion did not give up and and some key Deagle kills by Spyness let his team go on a 7 round run of the half.

Once again Cliper came up big for his team as a last minute flank caught Devastation by surprise to close out the match 16 to 10.

Jax Money Crew vs Aqua

ICMATCH=1386,ROUNDS

JmC is back at the CPL after with a semi revamped line up taking on New York’s Aqua.

JmC starts off attacking and gets off to a good start winning the first half 11 to 4. The second half Aqua took the pistol round and started to get a bit of a spark winning round and making the ones they lost close but it was not enough as JMC takes the win with steady play from its entire roster.

4Kings vs Serious

ICMATCH=1387,ROUNDS

Many last minute changes left a lot of question about Serious gaming before the event all chances they had to prove they could compete at this event was shut down by Goodfella and the 4Kings. With 12 rounds the in first half as offense, 4Kings displayed almost perfect timing and tactics, something 4K has been lacking in years past.
