First Half Unfortunately I missed the first three rounds of the match so I will refer you to the demo once we post it for that. I can tell you that Begrip lost the pistol, the ecos, and momentum starting from there. Flat out, the match was one sided and fairly uneventful. Standing behind Begrip, I had the feeling that the players thought they were going to lose the entire time; the wrong attitude at everything short of an appearance in Weenus' Week in Review. Rounds four through seven saw Begrip getting slaughtered trying to split Bombsite A. The team would favor A with the bulk of the offense rushing the left ramp or middle using a wide array of grenades. The strategies were novice at best. Begrip picked up their first round of the half in round eight thanks in part to an entry kill and a slower paced strategy. Begrip chose to run a hold strategy, progressing slowly up middle and flanked the B Bombsite. It could be assumed that after winning in Bombsite B that the team would attack B again right. Right? Right??? Wrong. Begrip went back to quickly blitzing the A Bombsite and failed miserably. NiP had a tendency to put a player above the sewer box and Begrip never picked up on it. A slow left ramp strategy fueled by HE grenades would have been the perfect offensive strategy for Begrip, but they failed to realize it. During round eleven, I could hear g3x behind me complaining about a headshot which gave me something entertaining during the one sided match. The match ended with Begrip focusing on middle and getting mauled. |
