Counter-Strike: K&B's Counter Strike Finals Preview

The stage has been set for a very promising CPL Finals match on Inferno. Karpov and Bootman examine the two teams competing and give their opinions on who they believe will win.

In the first K&B article Karpov won with a prediction of SK over NiP on cbble. Bootman looks to redeem himself with a victory here at the CPL Finals to bring the score to 1 all. A tie breaker of some sort (aka aim_map_usp) will be in order if Bootman brings home a victory here.

The Scenario

Upper bracket champions SK.swe will meet lower bracket champions Lunatic-Hai on Inferno at 1:00PM CST for a shot at the $18,000 first place prize, and a place in history as CPL champion of the most competitive tournament in the event's history.

It might be telling to look at the fact that Lunatic could barely get 2 t rounds vs devestation after winning CT side on inferno 14-1.

every team plays defense different, Inferno is gonna be pretty hard for Lunatic to use their flashbang trick bootman refers too as there are so many angles to get shot from when peeking corners. If SK has a hard time reading their tactics, it will go to 2 maps

very nice read, it will be a great match. I cant predict who wins, but I think lunatic-hai deserves the win, allthough sk is pretty sweet.

I'm curious thou... I wonder if that SK vs NiP game wasn't on cbble, what would the outcome of that game and of that competition be... SK performed really well, but NiP were really strong, only fluking on their last game (enough fluke, indeed), just look at their results! Begrip, CG, coL, fnatic...
And a special praise to JMC. WTF HAPPENED AT WEG/ WTF HAPPENED AT CPL !

#40 NiP barely beat Col, and no offense to Col, but they looked weak compared to SK, dont think SK would have had any trouble beating NiP or Col :)

#34 at cpl uk were sk was bad, they were a while, recently they are on top of the game again. I think they will stay on top for a while of they keep playing like they are lately

sk is and will always be the greatest. LH was god but SK with a vilden that was kinda bad tbh they still owned. Cant agree that LH has such better aim then the rest just that the play a little different
