Now everyone can stop saying that coL is better than 3D and the other way around.... they both need to revamping because when going up against the european circuit they fall short, like a a sack of potatoes

Anyone else find it funny that 4K, g3x, and JMC... three teams that no one expected to do that well, all did better than col/3d?

3D did not disappoint. They nearly took down SK. Losing a 3OT match like that probably took the wind out of them. They gave the tournament champions a run for their money like no other team did. That match has to go down as one of the greatest in CPL history. GG 3D.

Whats with the smacktalk ppl?

We should enjoy amazing play, regardless of nationality.

CoL has had some nice matches like when they slaughtered 4k. fROD and Warden ripping it up.

and #18, why let ppl like #11 make u stereotype us all ;)

I find it amazing how SK can step it up when they need to. Just 2 months ago they were playing really bad, then boom they own the place up. Todays games was the SK Skill/Strat/Clutch i remember.

Man, I'm having so much fun with some friends when I called JMC as the dark horse of the tournament and they thought I was insane. After the pre-CPL LG tournament I thought they would have some big chances of upsetting people, and they did exactly what I expected. G3X though surprised myself, and I thought mouz and begrip would turn more heads. But all in all, it was a good tournament, some nice surprises on the CS side and alot of really good matches.

And the Quake side sure didn't disappoint either, even with guys like Voo,fat, stermy, zyz and stelam missing, the old quake3 players really stepped up to show the world that the skill is still there, especially Cooller who looked amazing through the whole tournament. Very very impressive play by him in alot of his matches, excluding that one map where toxic really raped him with the railgun. And what about Ztriders performance? That kid is nuts, hardly had any time to practise Q4 after the PK finals, and he already came 5th. That kid has an amazing future in front of him in the world tour and upcoming lans.

LOL prize money sucks when you look at the competition CS had.

Lunatic got unlucky having to play mill and then a not-so good performance on inferno. 16-13 is close and if they played well ouch. But it's ok Lunatic is a young team and almost beating THE best, oldschool, veteran team like SK is not a bad start.

Wathcing 3D and SK battle it out was definitely the high-point of the event for me. :)

I was cursing Sievers halfway through 3D's t-side (the first 30 rounds) for finally starting to get the crucial kills. glad to see SK pulled it off, and came home with the win.
