Flashbangs, Smoke Grenades, and HE Grenades









One of the most effective tactics I have seen lately came from team Forze’s middle defense at ESWC. The two middle players would both come from spawn side of middle and double smoke the middle. From here they were able to not only cross to the opposite side without getting touched, they could throw HE's down to the offensive ramp as well as flash it to slow down any sort of middle or B rush.

As for the B players, I suggest throwing two to three HE grenades down the banana very quickly and falling back. When I say three, I mean that the A site is not nearly as easy to rush. If one of the A players is able to come with the B players and get some quick HE's off, this will really scare the offense out of any rushes to this area. There are also the basic wall flashes, but my favorite flash is banking it to the left of the light pole. This flash will land right in front of the sniper boxes on the right and proves very effective. This flash will take some practice to do while running, due to that the light pole can be your worse enemy.

Spam Spots



I really don't like any spam spots except for from banana and angling yourself so you are not seen, but you can weaken a rush very easily with this spot. It is also risky -- a good offensive player is going to be able to hit you right back through this corner.
