Counter-Strike: CS For Dummies: Angles

de_nuke

One tendency that offensive players often have when they are expecting someone to be hiding in a corner that is pretty much 90 degrees to their left or right, they will turn that direction before even strafing out, rather than rounding the corner. If you are positioned here, and manage not to get blinded, this will usually be able to get you a few frags from the offense scattering as soon as they come out of the entrance and while they are checking these sharp corners.

Playing directly in the middle of the bombsite, crouched behind the bomb boxes to shield you from a door rush, has become a very popular angle to play among the pros. It is usually played by going to the rafters and dropping to the bombsite boxes and then playing in this position. If you have a rafters player that plays directly above the ladder to watch the hut door, this spot is a perfect stack. It is very rare that a player on offense will check the floor from the same angle he can get shot from the rafters. This is a great spot for backup, as well as stopping a rush from the hut.

If you are an outside player, this one is best for an AWP, but I don't really like the idea of an AWP on de_nuke due to most of the map being very close ranged and it will be very hard to retake a bombsite with the gun. If you are a good long ranged colt player, this spot will work a few times during the half. This spot will lure the offense into thinking you have an overloaded upper bombsite, and you will be able to frag your opponents from long distance.
